The Art of Social Mobilization : Meetup Organizer Workshop

Each day Meetup helps more than 9,000 groups get together in local communities all over the world. Each group with the goal to improve themselves or their communities.
But what makes a quality Meetup and how can it be measured and improved? Or what really makes people sign up, attend and bring their friends next time?

In the workshop we will bring organizers of Berlin´s leading Meetup Groups together with the Betterplace Lab´s social technology experts and the Berlin Peace Innovation Lab community to exchange lessons learned and develop new ideas to improve the Meetup communities in Berlin. For the first time in Germany, we are (super mega) excited to have a special guest with us from Meetup HQ in New York. Sarah Jean Billeiter is Community Lead at Meetup and will share her “best practice” stories and give us sneak peak into what product improvements we can expect in the future.
